Sandra Johnson

My name is Sandra Adams Johnson. I currently serve as the Administrator Principal here at Plymouth Christian School. With Christian joy in my heart, I have served students, staff and numerous families here at Plymouth since 2014. Receiving my educational studies from California State University Dominguez Hills and graduating in 1985, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in English with a minor in Psychology, I immediately entered into the CSUDH Teaching Program. I have taught in public, private, secular and Christian education. There is a measurable difference in the various types of education in today’s society. The most peculiar facet about me is that I never desired to have my own children because I had a career mind-set, wanting to perfect my teaching skills and be able to devote literally all of my time to my wonderful students and their loving parents, facilitate workshops, attend professional development courses to enhance my teaching, and assist in Administration duties by mentoring teachers, organizing and teaching educational seminars and planning school wide events. Working in so many areas of education for 38 years, I have seen the pendulum of education and realize that when it comes to a child’s educational experience, we can’t afford the cookie cutter mentality. We must offer various modalities of teaching styles to ensure a child’s success in learning.

I’ve been happily married to my soulmate since 1995. We have a blast together as daily we live out our marriage motto: Love Is…What Love Does!

Some day I would love to travel to Australia to meet, in person, my mom’s side of our family. My favorite Bible verse is Ecclesiastes Chapter 3.
